How to Get a Visa

Visitors now must obtain a Tourist visa before entering Solomon Islands and are required to apply for their Tourist visa through the immigration Evisa portal well before the date of travel. The tourist visa costs a total of 100usd (50USD for the visa, 50USD for the online lodgement fee) and requires a passport copy, a cover letter stating the purpose of entry, a copy of travel itinerary, accommodation booking and proof of sufficient funds.

The visa permits visitors to enter the country for a period of 90 days after it is granted. Extensions may be granted for an additional fee.
