About the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force
The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force was established in 1954 to provide a safe, secure and peaceful Solomon Islands. The RSIPF strives to provide an efficient, capable and responsive policing service.
The RSIPF is headed by the Commissioner of Police who reports to the Minister of Police, National Security and Correctional Services of the Solomon Islands.
