About the National Art Gallery

The Solomon Islands National Art Gallery is a national practical institution that has been the overseer of the arts and the necessary component of art forms involved, both contemporary and pre historic art forms.

This institution is a practical division that has almost 75% of its function dealing with artisans and their products.

The recently established Honiara Craft Market Centre is also another new facility under this division that provides opportunities for the artisans to rent spaces to produce and sell their crafts.

Honiara Craft Market Center Monday to Sunday – 8.30am to 5pm
Café Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm

Saturday – 8am to 2pm
