Apply for a Planning Permit

The process of applying for a planning permit falls under the auspices of the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Survey.

The Honiara City Council along with the Provincial Town and Country Planning Boards are responsible for considering and approving applications for developments in Control of Development Areas around the Solomon Islands.

Enquiries should therefore be made with the relevant provincial Government or the Honiara City Council. More information on the Honiara process can be found on HCC’s website.
