Obtain a Recovery and Removal License
The Recovery and Removal License is a license that is issued by the Minister of Culture and Tourism for those who are interested in the following:
- Collect, excavate and remove WWII wrecks either to preserve as a museum piece or for restoration work.
- Individuals who would like to seek treasure but strictly with SIG supporting document proposal, complete safety requirements and clear evidence of the treasure.
- Recovery of WWII human remains.
- Building construction in active WWII areas or WWII garbage disposal areas.
A proposal must be submitted to the National Museum stating the nature of the activities before a license can be permitted.
