Police officers who attend the middle management training
Middle managers of the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) in Honiara will be benefited from a 10 days training program on middle management course which officially open at the Rove police headquarters on 25 May 2021.

Supervising Assistant Commissioner (AC) Corporate Support Mr Richard Menapi during the opening program said that the middle management course was design for the purpose of upskilling frontline police officers.
AC Menapi said the RSIPF is going through some changes now to ensure that it keeps pace with the modern policing in terms of management. The course is aiming at recapping and upskilling middle managers on their roles and responsibilities. The course has been developed purposely for senior constables, Sergeants and Senior Sergeants.
Mr Menapi said priority on this training would be on developing and enhancing participant’s knowledge and skills to perform their duties according to required standard as professionals to effectively serve our communities.

He said that the participants are required to have good knowledge of their areas of responsibilities and be prepared to share their knowledge with others through sharing of ideas and discussions in groups.
The training will focus on:

Training Coordinator, RSIPF Academy, Inspector Agnes Ape say, “Currently training start with Honiara base police officers and we will role it to the provinces during the year.”
Inspector Ape says, “I kindly ask officers to committed and learn. This is the opportunity to broaden your knowledge to understand your areas of responsibilities. I wish you well in your training.”
