Road Construction Works – Foxwood Box Culvert
The public is advised that construction works at the seaside section of the Pipe Arch Culvert at Foxwood along East Road will commence on 27 June 2026. The works will involve asphalt sealing of the currently unsealed sections on both approaches to the culvert and are expected to be completed within one month, subject to weather conditions and site constraints.
In relation to these works, the public is further advised as follows:
- A one-lane traffic arrangement will be implemented on the landside section adjacent to the worksite to facilitate the safe movement of vehicles through the construction area.
- Pedestrian walkways will be provided at designated locations. Traffic Controllers will be stationed on site to assist pedestrians and motorists and to ensure road safety and the smooth flow of traffic.
- For the safety of all road users, the work area will be properly barricaded, and traffic signs and safety devices will be installed prior to the commencement of works.
- Motorists are advised to exercise caution when travelling through the construction zone, obey all traffic signs, and follow the directions of Traffic Controllers at all times.
Refer to the attached Traffic Management Plan for details.
