MINISTER TUHAIKA MEETS CPLT COMMISSIONER MR. BAI HAITAO
Minister of Police, National Security and Correctional Services, Hon. John Tuhaika Jnr, received a courtesy visit from the Commissioner of the China Police Liaison Team (CPLT) to the Solomon Islands, Mr. Bai Haiatao, on Wednesday, 10th June 2026.
On behalf of the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, Commissioner Bai Haitao extended warm congratulations to Hon. Tuhaika on his appointment as Minister of Police, National Security, and Correctional Services of the Solomon Islands, highlighting that CPLT is ready to work with his ministry to continue police cooperation between the two countries.
Hon. Tuhaika thanked CPLT for its consistent assistance and reaffirmed the importance of constructive engagement and cooperation between the Solomon Islands and China on policing matters.
