
Public Notice: Construction of O1 Market Junction – White River
This is to inform the public that construction works for the Junction Road at the O1 Market, White River area along Tandai Highway are tentatively scheduled to commence on Thursday, April 9, 2026. The works are expected to be completed within one (1) week, subject to weather conditions.
The scope of works will include roadbed preparation through to sealing, as well as the installation of curbstones and a pedestrian walkway.
In connection with the above, the public is advised of the following:
- Traffic Advisory
- The two lanes at the road junction will be closed to general traffic. Vehicles traveling to and from Tasahe will be diverted to a temporary side road that will be provided.
- A “Stop and Go” traffic scheme will be implemented. Motorists are advised to follow the instructions of traffic controllers to ensure safety and maintain a smooth flow of traffic.
- Safety Measures
- The work area will be properly barricaded to ensure public safety.
- Traffic signs and other safety devices will be installed prior to the commencement of works to guide motorists and pedestrians.
- Pedestrian Access
- Pedestrian walkways and designated crossing points will be provided.
- Safety Officers and Traffic Controllers will be deployed to assist both pedestrians and motorists and to ensure safe and orderly movement.
- Traffic Management Plan
- An attached Traffic Management Plan is provided for reference.
- Additional signage may be installed as necessary, depending on site conditions.
- The work schedule may be adjusted due to weather conditions.
