Commencement of Bus Bay Construction at Rifle Range Roundabout (Landside)
This is to inform the general public that construction works for a new bus bay in front of the Family Support Center / Tong’s Building, located on the landside near the Rifle Range Roundabout, will commence on 23 March 2026.
The works are expected to be completed within ten (10) days, subject to prevailing weather conditions.
Scope of Works:
The project will involve the construction of driveways at the front and side of the building.
Traffic and Public Advisory:
In connection with these works, the public is advised of the following:
- The outer lane along this section of the road will be closed to general traffic. Westbound vehicles will be directed to use the inner lane.
- Temporary access will be provided for both vehicles and pedestrians for occupants of Tong’s Building and residents in the hillside area.
- For public safety, the work area will be properly barricaded, with appropriate traffic signage and safety devices installed prior to the commencement of works.
- Pedestrian walkways and designated crossing points will be established at selected locations. Safety Officers/Traffic Controllers will be deployed on-site to assist both pedestrians and motorists, ensuring road safety and maintaining smooth traffic flow.
A Traffic Management Plan is attached for reference. Additional signage may be installed as required based on actual site conditions.
