
Public Advisory Notice
3rd February 2026
This is to inform the Public that the road works at the St. John School Junction shall tentatively start on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 and expected to be completed within a week.
The works will include road excavation, curbstone installation, pavement, and sealing works.
Traffic Advisory:
- The landside road section from Kukute Road to St. John School Junction will be closed to general traffic.
- Westbound vehicles heading to White River are advised to use the seaside lane from Coral Sea Resort, returning to the landside lane after the Bulk Shop Roundabout.
- Vehicles accessing Garden Drive, nearby residences, and offices should use Kukute Road.
- Heavy trucks are advised to turn at the Town Ground Roundabout.
Attached is the Traffic Management Plan as reference. Additional signages shall be installed as necessary based on actual site situation. Work schedule may change depending on the weather conditions.
Pedestrians shall be provided with walkways and pedestrian crossings in some designated locations. Safety Officers/Traffic Controllers shall be assigned to assist pedestrians and the motorists to maintain road safety and smooth flow of traffic.
