WORKS NOTICE: SEWERAGE MAINTENANCE WORKS; MENDANA AVENUE & HIBISCUS AVENUE.
- 10:00 PM 23 October 2025 to 12:00 AM 24 October 2025, Mendana Avenue and Hibiscus Avenue
Solomon Water would like to inform the public that it will be undertaking Sewerage Maintenance Works along the Mendana and Hibiscus Avenue, Point Cruz.
The works will be conducted from 10pm Thursday 23 October to 12am Friday 24 October. Please see maps below for further details.
Traffic Management Plan:
- Lane travelling East will be completely
- Lane travelling West will be used as two-way
- Motorist travelling East will convert into two-way lane before SMI entrance and exit at HP roundabout.
- Motorist travelling West will convert into two-way lane after HP roundabout SMI and exit after SMI entrance.
- Motorists advised to travel at speed limit of 20km/hr.
- Spotters will be placed at each end of the works area to direct
Residents, pedestrians and motorists are advised to take extra precaution while walking or driving along the road during the works. Steps will also be taken to ensure Solomon Water employees and members of the public are not at risk of harm as a result of the works.

- Motorists are strongly advised to watch for spotters for direction before entering one-way
- Motorists advised to travel at speed limit of 20km/hr.
- Spotters will be placed at each end of the works area to direct

Water supply will not be affected.
