Independence Day is both an occasion to celebrate, and to remember the struggles and sacrifices of our forefathers who fought to give us this gift of Sovereignty! Tribute to their wisdom and heartfelt passion for us to be one Nation, one People.
In commemoration of this auspicious occasion, let us all acknowledge and appreciate our contributions as legislators, policy makers, development partners, provincial governments, public servants, community leaders, Churches, stakeholders and as citizens of Solomon Islands, in progressing our country over these 47 years.
MPGIS endeavors to foster its institutional strengthening machineries to enhancing good governance and development aspirations towards the socio-economic well-being of our citizens. Hence, the Ministry acknowledges the efforts and commitment of the 9 provinces in ensuring good governance, accountability and transparency in providing essential services in our rural Solomon Islands.
