Program Background

Australia Solomon Islands Program Support (ASIPS+) works across the Australian bilateral aid program, as well as provides support to the Australian High Commission administrations in Honiara. The range of support includes, but is not limited to:

  • Procurement and contract management of technical assistance in Solomon Islands and remotely, and support to performance management across all sector programs;
  • Provision of support services (including logistics and security management) for Australian Government’s deployees and technical personnel;
  • Strategic advice, management and reporting, including program management, infrastructure technical management, monitoring and evaluation, strategic communications financial management and grant management.
  • The integration of the cross-cutting issues of gender equality, disability and social inclusion, climate change, indigenous participation and localisation throughout program delivery.

Australia Solomon Islands Program Support (ASIPS+) facility is funded by the Australian Government and implemented by DT Global.

Position Title Required Qualification and Experience
Infrastructure Project Management Specialist, Solomon Islands Australia Education Partnership – Readvertised
  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.

 

  • Experience: Proven experience managing infrastructure or construction projects from planning through to completion, including project scoping, cost estimation, tendering, contract administration, construction supervision, quality assurance, and project close-out.
