National Examination Marker and Script Checker

 

The National Education Assessment Division (NEAD) of the Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development (MEHRD), invites application from interested applicant to assist in the National Examination marking and script checking this year, 2026.

The following examinations and subjects are as follow:

2 Solomon Islands School Certificate Level 1 (SISC L1)            ·        English

·        Business Studies

·        New Testament Studies

·        Home Economics

·        Industrial Arts
3 Solomon Islands School Certificate Level 2 (SISC L2)         ·        English

·        Mathematics

·        Biology

·        Physics

·        Chemistry

·        Geography

·        History

·        Development Studies

·        Economics

·        Agriculture

·        Computer Studies

·        Accounting

·        Design Technology (Food and Wood)

Selection Criteria:

  1. Marker

* 3 and more years of teaching experience.
* Currently teaching the Examinable subject.
* Letter of interest (Application letter).
* Letter of approval/endorsement from the current School Principal.
* Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
* Certified School Certificate & Transcript for the first time applicant.

NB: Provincial markers – ONLY bus-fare allowance during the marking will be provided and no other necessities.

  1. Script Checker

* Pre-service student (Undergraduate; Year 1, 2 & 3) from USP, SINU or other Regional Institution.
* Letter of interest (Application letter).
* Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
* Certified School certificate & Transcript.
