
PM Manele among leaders attending the World Governments Summit discussion on the Future of Tourism

President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan reminds global leaders attending this week’s World Government Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates that in the current global transformation, the world’s collective strength lies in its unity, shared vision and joint efforts to achieve sustainable and equal development for all.
Welcoming international guests to the World Governments Summit this week, President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasised global unity in the face of universal transformation.
The world is interconnected, he stressed.
The President stated, the World Governments Summit offers a global platform for dialogue and the exchange of visions and ideas, at a time when societies are in pressing need of concerted and joint cooperative efforts to confront challenges that cannot be addressed individually.
UAE reaffirmed its unfazed mission to support international cooperation with the aim of serving development goals of various global communities. It believes that global prosperity and progress are ensured by collaborative global efforts aimed towards a shared vision for a brighter future for humanity, focusing on stability and development for all.
Meanwhile, in his welcome remarks, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai emphasised on the importance and relevance of the summit.
“The growing international participation in the World Governments Summit cements its position as the premier global forum for governments at a crucial time of transformative and historical change.”
He stated, the changes the world is witnessing today are different, rapid, and comprehensive. Governments need to be increasingly prepared, proactive, and adaptive. Participating in the World Governments Summit for the first time, Solomon Islands Prime Minister Hon. Jeremiah Manele MP acknowledge the government and people of the United Arab Emirates for the invitation and warm hospitality accorded to the Solomon Islands government in this week’s global summit.
The Summit provides a unified and unique platform for global dialogue, enabling governments to chart a roadmap for progress, prosperity, and inclusive development, keeping pace with current global changes.
PM Manele is invited to this year’s World Governments Summit by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
The invitation is itself a statement telling of the significant milestone in the growing bilateral relations between the Solomon Islands and the United Arab Emirates
The Prime Minister is among panellists on sessions and discussions on the ‘Future of Tourism’ and the ‘Climate Change Preparedness versus Response’ this week.
More than 30 heads of state and government, more than 80 international and regional organisations, 140 government delegations, and more than 6,000 attendees congregated at the Summit’s official opening Tuesday this week.
