Thank you, officers
The Office of the Commissioner, Correctional Service of Solomon Islands (CSSI) has recently hosted its annual Christmas end year party with his National Management Team at the Correctional Headquarter, Rove in Honiara.
Speaking during the event, Commissioner Mactus Forau said, Our gathering this evening brings purpose to celebrate our end year contributions and achievements together with this time of festive seasons as we approach the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ which will be celebrated on the 25th December 2024.
“It is a great honour to stand before you as your Commissioner at this very special occasion to acknowledge you all for your generous commitment and ongoing support in delivering services of the organisation, and more especially to the Office of the Commissioner and to the Solomon Islands Government”.
“To journey on the other side of the lake through rough seas and strong winds would entail a long and difficult journey, it requires a captain with crews to navigate the journey to reach the destination. Without a crew in the ship will never be travel and without a captain the journey will not be completed”.
Commissioner Forau says, it is a very challenging year for the organisation with the very limited financial resources to meet the demand of operations and administrations’ expectations, but through your commitment team work and effort, it brought forth ways to grow from strength to strength and to become strong to any situations we faced and heads on in implementing our mandated responsibilities to the organisation, people and the government.
Thank you for your tireless dedication and devoted service, and may you and your family’s celebrate and enjoy this festive season with God guiding providence. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2025.
