PARTIAL ROAD CLOSURE – BETIKAMA RD
Solomon Water and its contractors would like to inform residents of Burnscreek and the public that one lane of the road will be temporary closed at Betikama Rd junction on Wednesday, 4th June 2025.
Project Details
Start date: Wednesday, 4th of June 2025
Duration: 1 hour
Working Hours: 7pm to 8pm.
Work area: Junction of Burnscreek (See map attached).
Scope of Work: Installation of flowmeter chamber roof into pit.
Minimizing Impacts to Residents
While we do not anticipate any damage to your properties and driveways, it is important to acknowledge that there will be delays and disruptions to traffic along the construction route. To ensure your convenience, Pacific Engineering Projects Limited (PEP), the contractor responsible for the project, has committed to the following measures:
- Ongoing Communication: Any changes or updates following this notice will be duly communicated to you.
- Communication will be done as per the contacts provided on previous Consultations and face to face for the residents, road users and public.
Occupational Health and Safety Precaution Heavy machinery such as cranes, backhoes and welding machine will be in use at the construction site, making all construction areas off-limits for safety purposes.
Residents are advised they may experience an increase in noise, vehicle movements and bright coloured flashing lights during the works.
The contractor will take steps to ensure there is no risk of harm to its employees and to the Residents, road users and public during the works.
Please adhere to all safety measures to avoid any potential accidents or injuries.
