PUBLIC ADVISORY

The Public is hereby informed that construction works at the seaside east section of the HP Roundabout are tentatively scheduled to commence on Friday, 9 January 2026. The works are expected to last approximately 7 working days, subject to weather conditions. The scope of work includes the installation of curb stones and paving of the roundabout.

Traffic Arrangements: 

– The seaside section of the roundabout will be closed to traffic during construction.
– Eastbound vehicles approaching the roundabout should turn right into the landside lane, which will be a two-way traffic flow, and then turn left at the opening in front of the Development Bank.
– Vehicles coming from the East side and Hibiscus Road heading towards Heritage Park should use the Town Ground Roundabout.
– An access point will be maintained for residents and guests at Palm Sugar and nearby establishments.

Safety Measures: 

– The work area will be barricaded and equipped with appropriate traffic signage and safety devices.
– Pedestrian walkways and crossings will be provided at designated locations.
– Safety Officers and Traffic Controllers will be deployed to assist pedestrians and motorists, ensuring road safety and smooth traffic flow.

Additional Information: 

– Attached is the Traffic Management Plan for reference.
– Additional signage will be installed as needed based on actual site conditions.
– The work schedule may be adjusted depending on weather and site circumstances.
