No alarm and panic, as assessment training at Rove police headquarters will continue for the next 24 hours
The Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) wishes to inform good people around the Rove police headquarters area that there is a training assessment conducted for the next 24 hours starting early this morning on 22 September 2026.
The assessment training for the Police Support Unit (PSU) will continue through the evening and night until 6 am the following morning (tomorrow).
Various training activities will be conducted throughout the Rove police headquarters and Rove Oval during nighttime, which may generate noise and cause disruption.
Residents within the vicinity of Rove’s married quarters may encounter noise and disturbance and should be informed that this is an integral component of the training exercise.
The noise generated will be from Stan grenades (Flash Bangs) for training purposes and may generate loud noise like a gunshot from an assault weapon.
This will not cause any harm to training participants; however, it may cause public alarm due to the loud bang from the sound and flash.
Public, please take note of this training and let others be aware to avoid any alarm and panic.
