New Zealand Police Hands Over Mindset Training T-Shirts to CSSI Commissioner
Honiara, 23 April 2025 – Assistant Advisor to the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF), Mr. Darryn, officially handed over Mindset Training T-shirts to the Commissioner of Correctional Service Solomon Islands (CSSI), Mr. Mactus Forau, during a brief ceremony held at Correctional Service Headquarters, Rove.
During the handover, Advisor Darryn emphasized the importance of the Mindset training program, stating, “Training a person’s mindset is a powerful tool. The program is grounded in five core principles that will not only make participants better officers, but also help drive positive change across the organization.”
He encouraged all CSSI Mindset Trainers to continue rolling out the training to all staff, highlighting its transformative potential in enhancing professionalism and fostering a more positive working culture within CSSI.
Commissioner Forau expressed his sincere gratitude to the New Zealand Police and the Government of New Zealand for their continued partnership and invaluable support in facilitating the Mindset Trainer program.
“These T-shirts are more than just uniforms; they represent a commitment to professional development and to building a better future for our service,” said Commissioner Forau.
The T-shirts were gifted by the New Zealand Police as part of their ongoing collaboration with CSSI’s Train-the-Trainer Team in delivering the Mindset course across the organization.
The gift was contingent upon each Trainer delivering a minimum of four training sessions. All Trainers have successfully met this requirement and are now proudly receiving their well-earned recognition.
