MPNS&CS Minister visit Rove and Tetere Corrections
Minister of Police National Security & Correctional Services (MPNS&CS) Hon. Jimson Tanangada have visited Rove Central Correctional Centre (RCCC) and Tetere Correctional Centre (TCC) on 21st February 2025.
Speaking during the official visit, Honourable Minister Jimson Tanangada convey his deepest gratitude to the Commissioner of Correctional Services for his leadership and all officers who have worked so diligently to make this visit possible.
Minister Tanangada articulated that this parade symbolizes not only respect for our work but also the commitment of the Correctional Services in supporting the Ministry of Police, National Security, and Correctional Services, and in ensuring the safety and security of our beloved Solomon Islands.
“As the Minister responsible for MPNS&CS, I fully recognize the immense responsibility that lies upon each of you in upholding the rule of law and ensuring justice for all. The work you do is vital to maintaining peace, stability, and social harmony throughout our nation”.
“Today’s parade is more than just a ceremonial event; it represents the ongoing dedication and professionalism of the Correctional Services in ensuring the rehabilitation and reintegration of individuals into society, while also safeguarding our communities”.

Minister assured the Commissioner Mactus Forau, Senior Executives and all officers that the Ministry stands firmly in support of your work, and I look forward to working closely with all of you to continue improving the systems that safeguard and protect our citizens, promote rehabilitation, and enhance the overall effectiveness of our correctional services.

Correctional Service of Solomon Islands Commissioner Mactus Forau, acknowledge the fruitful visit by the Minister to the Correctional Headquarter, Rove Central Correctional Centre and Tetere Correctional Centre despite of his busy schedule.
He also acknowledges and thank the Permanent Secretary MPNS&CS Karen Galokale and Ministry Head of Departments for accompanying the Honourable Minister during this official visit.
