As our country marks its 48th Independence Anniversary, the Ministry of Public Service proudly joins the Government in renewing our national commitment, TO LEAD IS TO SERVE.
As we commemorate this milestone, we stand united under this year’s Independence theme:
“Our Nation, Our Responsibility and Accountability – Building a GREAT Solomon Islands.”
This theme reinforced our shared commitments to strengthening our nation through responsible leadership, accountable governance, and quality public service. The Ministry of Public Service remains steadfast in its mission to build a professional, ethical, accountable, and people-centred public service that delivers excellent services and supports sustainable national development for all Solomon Islanders.
To all public servants throughout our country, we extend our sincere appreciation for your dedication, loyalty, and commitment. Your service remains the cornerstone of effective government and national development. Together, let us continue to serve with excellence, embrace innovation, and work collectively to build a great, more resilient, and prosperous Solomon Islands.
As we proudly raise our national flag and sing our national anthem, may this celebration renew our commitment to nation-building, peace, unity, responsibility, and prosperity for present and future generations.
