Ministry of Police, National Security, and Correctional Services holds a combined Thanksgiving service for staff
The Ministry of Police National Security and Correctional Service (MNPSCS) recently held an interfaith combined thanksgiving service for staff at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Spirituality plays an integral role in the daily lives of our officers, creating a sense of purpose and promoting virtues and ethical decision-making in the workplace. The combined thanksgiving service brings together officers from the RSIPF, CSSI, AFP, China Police Liaison Team, and the Ministry Headquarter.
Permanent Secretary of MPNS&CS Ms. Karen Galokale, in her closing remarks, encourages staff to be faithful in the work that God has entrusted to them in the field of security, law, and order. “As a Christian country, we must always seek God’s guidance in everything that we do. Challenges may distract us, but we will not be defeated when God is acknowledged in our lives and work.”
PS Galokale acknowledged the RCCG Pr. Joseph Olawale and church members for their dedicated service in spreading the word of God through sermon, prayers, and singing. The RCCG has been hosting the MPNSCS annual thanksgiving service in their church since the year 2022.
The sermon delivered by Pastor Joseph Olawale, under the theme “God is Faithful,” reminds us to be closer to God, for his love never fails those who follow and have faith in him. Isaiah 25 verse 1, “O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee; I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.”
