The Corporate Plan launch was graced by the Minister of Mines, Energy and Rural Electrification, Hon. Derrick Rawcliffe Manuari, MP, who delivered the keynote remarks.
In his address, Minister Manuari highlighted the Corporate Plan as a strategic roadmap designed to transform the social and economic livelihoods of Solomon Islanders through the sustainable management of the country’s mining, energy, water, petroleum, and geological resources.
Minister Manuari reiterated that the comprehensive plan aligns with the Government of National Unity and Transformation’s policy directions and the National Development Strategy 2026–2036.
He acknowledged the crucial role of donor partners and stakeholders, urging continued engagement and collaboration to maximize the benefits of this partnership throughout the Corporate Plan’s implementation period.
The Minister emphasized the importance of strong commitment and collaborative implementation, calling on all Heads of Divisions and senior officers within the Ministry to work collectively in transforming the plan’s objectives into tangible outcomes. “Effective implementation will not only enhance the reputation of our Ministry but also strengthen the Government’s ability to deliver on its promises to the people,” he stated.
