As we celebrate this important milestone, let us give thanks to our Almighty Father, the God of Hosts, who has graciously blessed us with another year of peace, prosperity, and abundance—just as He has faithfully done throughout the years since our independence.
As we mark 48 years of independence under the theme: “Our Nation, Our Responsibility and Accountability – Building a GREAT Solomon Islands,” we are reminded that nation-building is a shared duty. Each of us has a role to play in strengthening accountability, upholding justice, and contributing to the progress of our country.
The Ministry of Justice and Legal Affairs reaffirms its commitment to uphold the rule of law, protect the rights of all citizens, and ensure justice is accessible, fair, and transparent.
Let us continue to work together with unity, integrity, and responsibility as we build a peaceful, just, and prosperous Solomon Islands for future generations.
