The presence of our Minister for Commerce Industry Labour & Immigration (MCILI) and Head of Delegation, Hon. Frederick Kologeto at our Solomon Islands Pavilion on Sunday 19th December, 2021 together with the Deputy Secretary Technical in the Ministry of Commerce Industry Labour & Immigration Mr. Eric George Ongoa and Mr Bob Pollard, Managing Director of Kokonut Pacific Limited, has inspired our Pavilion staff they prepare to celebrate the Solomon Islands National Day on Tuesday 21st December.
Minister Kologeto was met on arrival by Commissioner General Ambassador Moses Kouni Mose and Pavilion Director Dennis Marita.
Also present was the Director of Government Communication Unit Mr George Herming, Business Representative Bryan Keniasina, and Garred Porowai from Tourism Solomons.
Minister Kologeto was impressed with our exhibits and the relevant information that reflected our progressive nation which was benchmarked on the National Developments Goals for 2016 to 2030.
CG Mose also took time to brief the Ministerial delegation about the progress to date of our Pavilion and the increasing demand from visitors for our unique organic products.
The delegation also took time to savor some delicious Arabic food at the Al Rihab Lebanese Restaurant.
Meanwhile preparations for the Solomon Islands National Day celebrations are well underway with our traditional and contemporary performers already arriving in Dubai on Sunday.
Thousands of visitors are expected to watch the live performances while over 30 million viewers will be watching the event live on Arabic Television stations.
