
Manaaki Short Term Training Scholarship – Climate Change course
The New Zealand Government, through the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships Programme, invites individuals working on climate change to apply for the Manaaki New Zealand Short Term Training Scholarship on Climate Resilience.
The Climate Resilience course has been created to increase the knowledge and skills of Pacific officials and other professionals working in climate change delivery and management roles. The course is expected to increase participants’ understanding of climate resilience in the Pacific context and will build capability in areas including policy development and effective project delivery.
This is a three-week (continuous) residential course to be held in Wellington, New Zealand. This is a fully funded scholarship covering course fees, visa costs (excluding passport fees), accommodation and other expenses.
This scholarship is available for professionals from all sectors with at least 5 years work experience in the relevant sector. Applicants are encouraged to review the programme content and demonstrate how it aligns with their professional development goals and their commitment to advancing climate resilience in their organisations and communities.
