A group of Israeli tourists have expressed interest to learn more about the Solomon Islands following a visit to the Solomon Islands Pavilion at the Dubai Expo 2020 this week.
After an encounter with Deputy Commissioner General and Pavilion Director Mr Dennis Marita, the group further expressed their plans to visit the Solomon Islands in November this year to learn more about the ‘Happy Isles’, which, was named after the biblical wise King Solomon.
Mr Marita said with the lifting of Boarder restrictions in Australia, more and more visitors are now expected to visit the Solomon Islands including other tourist destinations in the South Pacific Region.
“We will warmly welcome you all in November to Honiara and wish you all the best in you preparations and travel,” Marita told the group.
With the Signing of the Abraham Accords in September 2021, more tourists from Israel are now enjoying their visit to the United Arab Emirates and vice versa for visitors from the Emirates to the State of Israel.
