CSSI Commissioner attends 42^nd APCCA Conference in Hong Kong

The Commissioner of Correctional Service Solomon Islands Mr. Mactus Forau is attending the 2024, 42^nd Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators (APCCA) at Hong Kong in China.

China has the honour of hosting this year 42^nd Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators (APCCA) with the theme “Collaboration for Sustainable and High-quality Development” from 17 to 21 November 2024 at Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West in Hong Kong.

The Asian and Pacific Conference of Correctional Administrators provides a forum for government officials responsible for prison or correctional administration within the Asia-Pacific Region to share ideas and practices in the professional area of correctional administration and develop networks aimed at fostering co-operation.

The Commissioner trip was fully funded by the Australian Government through Australia-Solomon Islands Partnership for Justice.
