CONDOLENCE MESSAGE
The Political Parties Commission and the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences on the passing of the late Ms. Christina Mitini, Deputy Chief Electoral Officer of the Solomon Islands Electoral Commission.
We are profoundly saddened and shocked by the news of Christina’s passing. Her untimely departure is a great loss not only to her family and colleagues, but also to the democratic institutions and public service of our nation.
Christina was a dedicated, compassionate, and remarkable leader who served with distinction, integrity, and unwavering commitment. Throughout her years of service, she worked closely with our Office through various collaborative partnerships, electoral programs, and institutional engagements aimed at strengthening democracy and good governance in Solomon Islands. Her professionalism, wisdom, and genuine passion for public service left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working alongside her.
She was admired for her tireless dedication to promoting democracy, transparency, and public participation in the Solomon Islands. Christina’s leadership, humility, and positive spirit inspired many, and her valuable contributions to our country will always be remembered with deep respect and appreciation.
