Commissioner Forau Visit Tetere Correctional Centre
The Commissioner of Correctional Service Solomon Islands (CSSI), Mr. Mactus Forau, recently paid a courtesy visit to Tetere Correctional Centre (TCC) in Guadalcanal Province.
Commissioner Forau highlighted some of the organisation’s key flagship priorities includes discipline, staff promotion, infrastructure and human resources development
Commissioner Mactus Forau emphasized that discipline must be strengthened across all levels and upheld not only by officers but also by inmates noting that it remains the foundation and backbone of any disciplined organisation worldwide.
Commissioner Forau thanked the Commandant for the comprehensive briefing and commended the management and staff for their commitment, dedication, and commendable efforts in maintaining security and stability at the centre.
Commissioner Forau also encouraged Tetere inmates to stay connected with God, read the word of God, and have time to pray and asked God’s mercy upon their lives and to continue with their good behaving orders and commitment to the centre daily work.
Tetere Correctional Centre Commandant, Supt. Charles Noli, expressed his sincere appreciation for the Commissioner’s visit and acknowledged the continued moral and administrative support provided by the CSSI Executive Office.
