The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) in Auki, Malaita Province held its first interfaith fellowship program today 29 July 2022 after the State of Public Emergency (SoPE) was lifted recently.
During the interfaith program, Pastor Malcom Moli from South Seas Evangelical Church (SSEC) in Auki inspires and encourages officers with the theme ‘Why we are here serving the RSIPF’.
The pastor encourages all officers that we are nation careers, and calls on all officers to be faithful when discharging their duties because they are responsible for every single lives and property of the people of Malaita Province and our Nation Solomon Islands.
Provincial Police Commander (PPC) Superintendent Leslie Kili says, “The message today inspires and encourages officers in a policing context which reflects the allegiance to the country and the RSIPF organisation as a whole.”
Superintendent Kili says, “Men and women wearing the sky blue uniforms should be proud that the RSIPF is a special organisation in the Government sector where each officer took an oath to be a serving police officer.”
During the parade inspection was done to the male and female platoon. I appreciate the turnout of officers looking neat and smart, well-disciplined in their uniform.
