Attorney-General’s Chambers Announces the Third Annual Conference of Parties 2026
The Attorney-General’s Chambers of Solomon Islands is pleased to announce the convening of the Third Annual Conference of Parties 2026, to be held under the theme:
“Law at the Centre of Good Governance: Promoting Responsibility, Accountability and Building a Great Solomon Islands”
The Conference will be held from 22nd to 23rd September 2026 at the Solomon Islands National Aquatic Centre, Panatina, East Honiara.
Established in 2024, the Conference of Parties is an annual forum that promotes cooperation between the Attorney-General’s Chambers and key stakeholders, including Government Ministries and agencies, Honiara City Council, Provincial Governments and State-Owned Enterprises.
The Conference will provide a platform to share important legal information, strengthen legal awareness, and discuss emerging legal issues affecting government operations. It will also support improved understanding of government decision-making processes, legislative drafting requirements, legal compliance, and public service delivery.
A key objective of the Conference is to strengthen the capacity of government agencies to identify emerging legal issues early and manage legal risks effectively.
The Attorney-General’s Chambers acknowledges the continued support of the Solomon Islands Government and the Government of Australia through the Australia Solomon Islands Partnership for Justice Program (ASIPJ) in supporting this Conference.
Further information regarding the Conference programme and registration arrangements will be circulated to the participating organisations and officials in due course.
