We wish to extend our sincere greetings as our country celebrates its 48th years of nationhood on 7th July 2026.
As we celebrate, let us reflect on the great visions of our forgone leaders for their struggles for our freedom and sovereignty. Let us also acknowledge successive leaderships for chartering the nation through good and unpredictable times to where we are today for the past 47 years.
This year’s theme, “Our Nation, Our Responsibility and Accountability-Building a GREAT Solomon Islands”.
reminds us to be accountable and take responsibility in our efforts in shaping a better and more prosperous destiny for our younger generations, and to embrace the opportunities in Building a GREAT Solomon Islands for the good of our people now and into the future.
Our Ministry remains committed to uphold, promote, and fulfil the rights of women, young people, children and families through effective partnership, inclusiveness, fairness and creating equal opportunities to advance the wellbeing of the nation.
