10 CSSI Officers Promoted to Superintendent, Senior Sergeant, and Sergeant Ranks
Ten (10) officers of the Correctional Service of Solomon Islands (CSSI) have been promoted to the ranks of Superintendent, Senior Sergeant, and Sergeant during a formal parade held at the Correctional Service Headquarters, Rove.
The promotions, officially announced by the Commissioner of CSSI, Mr. Mactus Forau, during the Commissioner’s Weekly Parade. Out of the ten (10) officers, three (3) were elevated to the rank of Superintendent, three (3) were promoted to the rank of Senior Sergeant, and four (4) were promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
Commissioner Forau highlighted that the promotions reflect the Service’s ongoing commitment to recognising talent, dedication, and promoting gender inclusiveness across all units.
In his address, Commissioner Forau encouraged all officers to remain committed and not be discouraged, but to continue demonstrating hard work, loyalty, faithfulness, and discipline in their service to the organization and nation.
“Celebrate your achievement with pride—it stands as a testament to your commitment, discipline, and hard work,” says Commissioner Forau.
“Congratulations on your well-deserved promotion, and I wish you all the best as you take on new responsibilities in this next chapter of your career.”
