Inmate Chris Baeoro Released on Parole

The Supervising Commandant of Rove Central Correctional Centre (RCCC), Mr. Derick Tenai, has announced the release of Inmate Chris Baeoro following approval by the Parole Board at its meeting on 19 November 2025.

Parole was granted after Inmate Baeoro met all required conditions and was subsequently endorsed by the Honourable Minister for Police, National Security and Correctional Services, Hon. Jimson Tanangada.

Inmate Baeoro was officially released on 26 January 2026 during a formal program held at RCCC in Honiara. Speaking at the event, Mr. Tenai reminded the parolee of the importance of strictly complying with all parole conditions to support successful reintegration into the community and ensure public safety.

Mr. Tenai also acknowledged the Office of the Commissioner, churches, and partner stakeholders for their continued support of rehabilitation and reintegration efforts through the CSSI Programs and reconciliation.
