76 New Recruits of Correctional Service Solomon Islands (CSSI) are called to be an ambassador of the Government of Solomon Islands in CSSI.
Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Senior Pastor Joseph Olawale reverberated this statement during the commissioning service at the RCCG, Cathedral here in Honiara.
“Recruits you are called to be an ambassador of the Government of Solomon Islands in CSSI, you are ambassadors of Jesus Christ in CSSI, and you are ambassadors of the people of Solomon Islands in CSSI”.
“As you enter the Correctional Service of Solomon Islands to serve, not only for salary or wages but to serve the government and the people of Solomon Islands”, says Pastor Olawale.
He reiterated that the uniform you are wearing is a sign or symbol of authority and super identities of representing the government, the people of Solomon Islands and Jesus Christ, as God is watching you, and one day you will be giving account before God about your work in CSSI.
He adds God look out from different families in Solomon Islands and pick you out of thousand candidates who need this job and picked you out from your family to represent Jesus Christ, the government, and the people of Solomon Islands in CSSI.
“God has his purpose and plan to help you from your new appointment as a Correctional Officer to become a shining light in CSSI, the government, your family and the people of Solomon Islands”, says Olawale.
