5 CSSI Officers Promoted to Inspector and Sergeant Ranks
Five (5) officers of the Correctional Service of Solomon Islands (CSSI) have been promoted to the ranks of Inspector and Sergeant during a formal parade held at the CSSI Headquarters, Rove.
The promotions was officially announced by the Commissioner of CSSI, Mr. Mactus Forau, during the Commissioner’s Weekly Parade. Of the five officers, four were elevated to the rank of Inspector, while one officer was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
Commissioner Forau highlighted that among the newly promoted officers, one is a female and four are male, reflecting the Service’s ongoing commitment to recognizing talent, dedication, and gender inclusiveness across all units.
In his address, Commissioner Forau reminded all officers of the importance of hard work, loyalty, faithfulness, and discipline in their service to the nation.
“Celebrate your achievement with pride—it stands as a testament to your commitment, discipline, and hard work,” Commissioner Forau stated. “Congratulations on your well-deserved promotion, and I wish you all the best as you take on new responsibilities in this next chapter of your career.”
