It is with a profound sense of joy that I, as the Minister of Infrastructure Development, extend warm greetings to you all on this occasion marking our country’s 48th Independence Anniversary.
In this spirit of gratitude, we give glory to God for the abundant blessings He has bestowed upon us over these past four decades, witnessing the power of freedom and self-governance. Let us take a moment to acknowledge the leaders who have served both in the public and private sectors. Their dedication and commitment to our country have laid the foundational stones upon which we continue to build and grow.
This year’s theme, “Our Nation, Our Responsibility and Accountability – Building a Great Solomon Islands,” beautifully aligns with our ministry’s mission to deliver and oversee integrated, safe, reliable, and sustainable infrastructure and transport services across the Solomon Islands. Together, we are committed to fostering national development and unity as we build a brighter future for our homeland.
Let us commit ourselves to the continuous building of a brighter tomorrow for generations to come.
Happy Independence Anniversary to all!
Respectfully,
Minister Honorable Ricky Fuo’o, along with the Executive, staff of the Ministry, and project partners.
