26 CSSI officers promoted to the rank of Sergeant and Senior Sergeant

The Correctional Service Solomon Islands (CSSI) Commissioner Mactus Forau has formally announce the promotion of twenty-six (26) correctional officers during the Commissioner’s parade at the Correctional Service Headquarter, Rove, this morning 12 February 2025.

The 26 newly promoted officer are; seven (07) officers promoted to the rank of senior sergeant and nineteen (19) officers promoted to the rank of sergeant.

This promotions been awarded to officers of Rove Central Correctional Centre, Tetere Correctional Centre and the Correctional Service Headquarter.

Commissioner Mactus Forau reinforce to newly promoted officers to lead by example as a discipline and professional leader, build trust and confidence, maintain high level of discipline, loyalty and commitment when executing your roles.

Sergeant Linda Saru on behalf of her colleagues that received their promotion today, acknowledge the Commissioner and his Executive Members for having trust and confident on them.

“We are not expecting this promotion, but we deserve it through our commitment, hard work, dedication and loyalty in service”.

“I on behalf of the newly promoted officers, would like to sincerely thank you for having confidence and believing in us that we are ready to take on the responsibilities mandated to us”, says Sergeant Saru.
