The Ministry of Police National Security and Correctional Service (MNPSCS) recently held an inter-faith combine thanksgiving service for staff at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), at Rove, next to Correctional Service Headquarter.
Spirituality plays an integral role in the daily lives of our officers in promoting virtues and ethical decision making the workplace. The combined thanksgiving service bring together officers from the RSIPF, CSSI, AFP, SIAF, China Police Liaison Team and Ministry Headquarters administration.
Permanent Secretary of PNS&CS Ms Karen Galokale in her closing remarks said, she is confident that we are called by the Lord to be His Stewards, to do the work that he has entrusted us to do in the field of Security, Law and Order.
“Without him as our Partner, our Teacher, our Divine Protector and Friend, all our efforts will be in vain. Let us go forth this year 2023 and continue to work together as a team in the Ministry to break down barriers of evil and be the unifying force for our people in our beloved country”.
“I want to thank all those who went an extra mile to make a contribution to the program and also in the arrangements for this timely service, may God bless you abundantly”.
PS Galokale acknowledged and thanked Pr. Joseph Olawale for the thoughtful sermon, prayers and for accepting the request to host the thanksgiving service in the RCCG church.
The sermon was delivered by, Pastor Joseph Olawale, under the theme “Time is short” who also offered a special prayer for the staff. “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens” Ecclesiastes chapter three.
