Colin Beck re-appointed Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade.
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Colin Beck was reappointed to lead the Ministry for a second term.
Mr. Beck’s new term was formalized during a swearing in ceremony at Government House today (21st November 2022).
Governor General, Sir David Vunagi conducted the ceremony in the presence of government house officials, a staff from the Prime Minister’s office and members of Mr. Beck’s family.
Permanent Secretary Beck was a seasoned diplomat, having served as Solomon Island’s representative to a number of countries, including as Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Ambassador to the United States of America in the recent past.
