Four TCC Officers Promoted to Superintendent and Sergeant Ranks

Four officers from the Tetere Correctional Centre (TCC) officially promoted to the ranks of Superintendent and Sergeant during a formal parade held at the Centre on Friday, 15 May 2026.

The Commissioner of the Correctional Service Solomon Islands (CSSI), Mr. Mactus Forau, announced the promotions during his official visit to Tetere Correctional Centre.

Among the promoted officers, Tetere Commandant Mr. Charles Noli was elevated to the rank of Superintendent. Three other officers — Lucas Seiroa, Rex Mali, and John Suluvoga — were promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

Commissioner Forau stated that the promotions reflect the Service’s ongoing commitment to recognising talent, dedication, and inclusiveness across all Provincial Correctional Centres.

In his address, Commissioner Forau encouraged all officers to remain committed to their duties and not be discouraged, but to continue demonstrating hard work, loyalty, faithfulness, and discipline in their service to the organisation and the nation.

“Congratulations on your well-deserved promotions. I wish you all the best as you take on new responsibilities in this next chapter of your careers,” says Commissioner Forau.
