
Road Construction Works – Bus Bays Along White River, Tandai Highway
The public is hereby informed that construction of a bus bay along the landside section of Tandai Highway, in front of the Church of Latter Day Saints at White River, is scheduled to tentatively commence on Thursday, 23 April 2026, and is expected to be completed within ten (10) days, subject to weather conditions.
The scope of works includes:
- Replacement of the existing footpath
- Installation of kerbstones
- Concreting of the surface course
In connection with these works, the public is advised as follows:
- The outer lane within the affected section will be closed to general traffic. Westbound vehicles will use the inner lane.
- For public safety, the work area will be properly barricaded. Traffic signage and other safety devices will be installed prior to the commencement of works.
- Pedestrian walkways and designated crossing points will be provided at selected locations. Safety Officers/Traffic Controllers will be deployed to assist pedestrians and motorists, ensuring road safety and maintaining smooth traffic flow.
A Traffic Management Plan is attached for reference. Additional signage may be installed as necessary based on actual site conditions. The work schedule may be adjusted depending on weather conditions.
