Over 20 local communities in WP received support from CPLT
Over 20 communities in Western Province (WP) have received sports and other essential items from the China Police Liaison Team (CPLT) recently.
The sports items are footballs, volleyballs, shirts, flashlights, and other essential items. The donated items were distributed by officers of the Royal Solomon Island Police Force (RSIPF) in WP to over 20 communities.
RSIPF Western Province Community Policing Officer Staff Sergeant (SSgt) Alick Alesena said this generous contribution is set to greatly benefit the local population for organizing various recreational and cultural activities.
SSgt Alesena said the supplies are expected to enhance the community’s cultural life and offer opportunities for increased engagement and interaction among residents.
Mr. Alesena said the local authorities in WP expressed their gratitude for the CPLT’s timely support, noting that the donation will play a key role in enriching the social and cultural fabric of the communities.
“This gesture further strengthens the partnership between the CPLT and the Solomon Islands, demonstrating continued cooperation in community development and the well-being of local residents,” Alesena said.
