PM Announces Upcoming Domestic and International Engagements
Honiara, Solomon Islands, Wednesday 5 November, 2025 – Prime Minister Hon. Jeremiah Manele has announced a series of official engagements to take place in the coming weeks in Solomon Islands and abroad.
Beginning next week, the Prime Minister will travel to Noro, Western Province, to officiate at the opening and handover of the new Noro Police Station, a project supported by the Government of Australia. He will then proceed to Kolombangara to present ICSI share certificates at KFPL to Kolombangara Islands Investment Limited, before travelling to Isabel Province for the opening of two new health centres in the Hograno Kia Havulei constituency.
Following his domestic engagements, the Prime Minister will travel to Brisbane, Australia, to attend the 14th Australia–Solomon Islands Business Forum, where he will promote trade, investment, and private sector collaboration between the two nations.
“These engagements demonstrate our Government’s commitment to community development, improved governance, and stronger partnerships both locally and internationally,” Prime Minister Manele said.
PM Manele will return to the country in time for parliament which is scheduled to reconvene on 24 November 2025.
