PUBLIC NOTICE
EFFECTIVE MONDAY, 11TH AUGUST 2025, THE BIOSECURITY AIRPORT WILL NO LONGER ISSUE PHYTOSANITARY CERTIFICATES FOR BETELNUT AND MUSTARD STICK.
From this date, the Biosecurity Airport will only issue:
- Inspection Certificates for Handicrafts & Artefacts
- Phytosanitary Certificates for Plant/Plant Products – Frozen, Cooked
(Excluding Betelnut and Mustard Stick)
Travellers carrying Betelnut and Mustard Stick must obtain their Phytosanitary Certificates in advance from our Biosecurity Head Office at Rove
(Catholic Chancery Building, opposite St. John School)

To ensure smooth service and avoid delays, please visit our Head Office at least one (1) day before your travel date.
Opening Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8am to 4.30pm
Saturday and Sundays: 8am to 2pm
