54th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders’ Summit Logo Design Competition – Now Closes 20th June 2025
The Solomon Islands Government, in collaboration with the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, is pleased to announce an extension to the deadline for its Logo Design Competition for the 54th Pacific Islands Forum Leaders’ Summit, to be held in Honiara from 9–12 September 2025.
The new submission deadline is now 20th June 2025, allowing participants additional time to refine and submit their creative concepts. This update replaces the previously announced due date of 16th June.
This competition invites Solomon Islands citizens to design the official logo for the Summit- an opportunity to visually represent Pacific unity and the Solomon Islands’ role as host nation.
The winning logo will be featured prominently across all official Summit branding, materials, merchandise, and digital platforms.
Competition Details
- Prize: SBD 10,000 cash, Certificate of Recognition, and formal acknowledgment during the Summit
- Eligibility: Open to Solomon Islands citizens (individuals or teams). Employees directly involved in the competition are not eligible.
- Deadline: 20th June 2025
Logo Design Requirements
Submissions should:
- Reflect Pacific unity and the Solomon Islands as host
- Draw inspiration from the Pacific Islands Forum identity and the Blue Pacific Continent
- Embrace themes of progress, peace, and regional cooperation
- Incorporate colours, symbols, or motifs from Solomon Islands culture
- Be clear, simple, and versatile for use across print, digital, and merchandise
- Avoid complex gradients or designs that don’t scale well
- Be square format (1:1), sized at 1000 x 1000 pixels
Submission Guidelines
Participants must submit:
- High-resolution logo files in PNG and PDF
- A short-written explanation (max 300 words) of the logo’s design and meaning
- Full name, contact details, and place of residence

Late submissions will not be accepted.
Terms and Conditions
By participating, entrants agree that the winning logo becomes the official property of the Solomon Islands Government and the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat for use in all Summit-related materials.
