The Bina Harbour Project Office, in conjunction with the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources (MFMR), organized a highly anticipated Technical Working Group meeting on Tuesday, 18th July, aimed at addressing and overcoming critical technical challenges faced by the Bina Harbour Tuna Processing Plant (BHTPP) project.
The meeting brought together a diverse group of experts and stakeholders who actively contributed their insights and expertise to find effective solutions.
During the meeting, participants had the opportunity to share their respective areas of expertise and present reports on the current status of their assigned tasks. The discussion revolved around technical challenges encountered in various aspects of the project, such as infrastructure development, environmental impact assessment, logistics management, and safety protocols.

The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Secretary Technical of MFMR, Ms Rosalie Masu, who noted that the meeting marked a significant milestone in addressing technical challenges for the BHTPP project.
